Planning permission was submitted in October 2017 and construction was completed in 12 months when it was opened to the players on July 6. “Rugby is strange – you see some good friends leave but then you’ve got new boys coming in who have definitely added value,” he continued. “We want to be at the top of Europe and this World Class facility is definitely a nice steppingstone to doing that,” he said.
