Cut into strips for east eating the chops are hands down done of the best garlic "bread" you will ever eat do not miss the chance to order this appetizer. It was a Saturday, but during a non-busy season (early December) and it wasn't too crowded in the restaurant. The garlic chips are homemade pizza crust cooked thin with spices, mozzarella and TONS of fresh garlic. My dad and Brendan ordered Italian hoagies and my mom ordered a spinach salad. Lovely ambience. The chicken on our pizza was very freezer burnt. The chicken was fresh, bbq was sweet, onions, and cheese delightful. While I agree with the above recommendations to call the owners and see if you can reserve the space/tables for when you need it the restaurant is small and I don't see how they will be able to put 16 people at any one table or set of tables comfortably. Also, added extra tax. Canaan Valley spot is often too busy to handle the crowds. Our waitress was really attentive and super nice. We were last here in March of 2011. Love this place!!! My greek salad was pretty good and my mom really liked her spinach salad. Food was mediocre. Amazing italian food combined with warm and welcoming hospitality makes this place the to go place in Davis. Sirianni's Cafe was our late night pick...and a great pick it was. Make a reservation! It' the home of my most favorite pizza! It wasn't actually meat sauce. There is a bit of a wait, due to the high volume of take out orders and people in the restaurant. Is it that there aren't that many choices to choose from in downtown Davis? The best aspect of their pizza is their dough and I think the higher elevation and the weather climate of Davis has a real positive aspect for it.
The cheesebread is to DIE for, and the pizza is absolutely incredible. I believe the peppers from my salad were from a crate next to the bathroom. When we told the employee we were a large party, he grunted and ran off without a word. Tripadvisor gives a Travelers’ Choice award to accommodations, attractions and restaurants that consistently earn great reviews from travelers and are ranked within the top 10% of properties on Tripadvisor. Can they accommodate a group of 20? Does this place have good reviews because it's perhaps the only local pizza place they've got?
We were seated right away. I have never written a review, but felt compelled to for this experience. This is by far my favorite pizza place. My wife and I went here for dinner and got a pizza and salad.
