A Southwest Philadelphia father has been arrested and charged with murder and endangering the welfare of a child in the beating death last week of his infant son, police said Wednesday. Kuhlmeier said the child's mother was not home on Friday when the beating allegedly occurred in their second-floor apartment on the 5800 block of Willows Avenue. The Atlanta-based family reminisced on their journey together—which has led to Te’a being drafted into the WNBA, Sharife ready to star at Auburn, Omar Jr up next at the prep level, and Omar Sr making ambitious moves in business. His hobbies included bowling, gardening, and making things out of stained glass, but most of all he enjoyed shooting the breeze with family and friends about the good old days.
