The score is similarly heartbreaking, a tender piano piece that ramps up the sadness. New theories? It’s a simple scene, but amazingly well done in showing someone being fed as a torturous act.

Anna takes her to a bath, where the girl freaks out (possibly reminiscent of some water-based torture) but Anna calms her. Omg I absolutly loved this review! She runs away, limping and screaming. Lucie wants her abductors caught, but she can’t remember much, and is plagued by visions, and seems to have been attacked a few times by an unseen presence. We’d recommend watching it before reading. Technically, the film is also incredible.

And yet, just as we’re poised for a nasty shock or attack, Anna reaches for the woman’s hand, presumably offering her the first kind, truly human contact she has received for years.
