I have been a customer for 15 years, and I know I will be back visiting the Oak Creek location. Going to Ikea is an adventure. Worst customer service ever.
Checking out took more than 30 minutes, 2 lanes open with 15 people stacked in each.

but I see nothing but love for the new Oak Creek location.Of course I visited IKEA under almost perfect conditions -- I was meeting a friend on a weekday morning, and so we were relaxed and happy as we strolled through the (gorgeous) sample rooms and various departments.Mid-visit we stopped in the cafeteria and enjoyed, get this -- a $2 breaakfast of eggs, sausage, potatoes, and pancakes.

Either the process requires too many steps, or the employees need more practice/training. Another positive for this location- They do allow to take carts all the way to your car. Go in with an open mind and just soak in all the IKEA vibes. I needed an inexpensive bed I can use for a brief period then hand over to overnight visitors.


The bottom cracked and it turns out it was not tempered glass, my bad.One of the knocks I have is the candles. Then they had the audacity to ask my to grab a ticket when I was the only customer who actually did.

They charge for services not completed which is essentially stealing. But with that said, it was very well organized and the way they handled the influx of so many customers was pretty amazing to see. Will try again. I also really like the Lion berry juice, especially with ice. An Ikea employee (older lady, short blonde/white hair) waa slowly pulling carts from way back in the 'employee only' cart area out to the floor so I asked her if she could get one for me, she refused.She instead decided to talk very slowly to me about how carts are discouraged in the display area (as we stand there and there are TONS of people with carts). We are working on correcting the issues you experienced in both the Returns and the Restaurant, and hope to provide a better experience for you in your future visits. There are bags for sale but there are none available to carry items home with you. She was polite, and offered to get us a manager. Ikea is a nice big airy store and a welcome addition for those who like constructing their own furniture. I will say it gets a little crowded but that's no big deal. Hopefully, they'll hire more folks to handle check out and the returns desk. Than going to one area to find all the items i saw in the show room. I recently bought some REALLY cute nightstands that double as cat hideouts. Coming opening weekend where it was crazy busy, customer service was top notch.

I do not buy that excuse.

They hand you a device that looks like the ones you get at chain restaurants while you are waiting for your table. The food is really inexpensive but they don't just have a regular coffee which is my criticism.
