I have been a Cobb owner/user for about 6 years and find them excellent !! Well worth it though Cheers, Harry and Ange. [Caravan Sites & Camping]  I am using six hot shot heat beads which fill the basket and wait till they are grey before starting to cook, I don't lift the dome until I calculate that the food should be cooked, all this cooking was done on a wire rack just above the teflon plate. Everything cooked beautifully. Maybe, but the manufacturers don't recommend it. A friend tells me that he takes his cobb into his tent as exta heating so - even though I am supposed to be intellegent - I did the same. For moist cooking, fluid in the moat is important. no problems. I've heard a lot of people say that heat bead brand are the only ones to use and not only in the Cobb Cooker. My daughter and I both have Cobbs and we used them every day. Never growing old, just getting dusty around the edges. 2 different cookers, both are great, but Cobb has best flavour! Trial and error .

I only knew I was in exteme pain, could not move and was feeling very sick - and the wife was no better and started projectile vomiting inside the sleeping pod - NICE. This was in the Cobb - pork joint cooked on the bone with roasty potatoes cooked in the well. [Features / Advice]  The OH was in an even worse state feeling very sick and again could not move. The phone calls went on into the early hours but finally got off to sleep at about 1am. [Reception]  COBB recipes; BBQ/grill; Smoking; Roasting; Shop. I love mine as i put a chunk of meat in and enjot drinking beer while it cooks!

Sometimes at the camping shows they have show specials, where you get some extras for your money - so if looking to buy one head to the next camping show. Please dont do it. Once your heat beads have gone white/grey, they are as quick as any bbq and I have proved this many times !! Sunday was another day with a nice day out and returned to site and cooked a nice chicken and pepper stir fry on the Cobb. I can't seem to get the pork crackling to crackle, apart from that I love my Cobb. Conversation was bizarre and neither of us were making any sense.
